I'm looking for the name of trick from many years ago done tableside. Essentially a silk is shown, place open on the table, the corners then folded into the center. Slowly the center of the silk rises up as if haunted with complete control by the magi. The silk can then be opened to be shown empty, etc. It was a fun trick, very easy to do, but I can't for the life remember the name.
Thanks in advance!! |

Glorpy, Hyrum the haunted hank...there are others..unless you specifically mean the one that slowly rises, but doesn't thrash around like a Glorpy

For the "Do-It-Yourselfer" who wants it all, "Hank, the Ghost Hank" from The Wizards' Journal #16 (on my site) shows you how to make your own, plus lots more variations and different routines to get your creative juices flowing. The old ghost hank still has a lot of life in it!

Nice performance! Wow! Is this Lynetta Welch? That was originally, "Glorpy, the Gerkulating Ghost", back in my day. I've never seen it performed like this:

Check out Eugene Burger's routine with this. Perfect for Halloween.
