If you own a “deluxe edition” of a magic book, odds are great that it’s been bound in “bonded leather.” For example, to my knowledge “bonded leather” has been used in nearly all of the “deluxe editions” issued by The Miracle Factory and L&L Publishing.
My question is if any of you have noticed any cracking or peeling of the polyurethane top layer of this material, or if the binding has become a little sticky or tacky to the touch. Many thanks in advance for your help. Clay |

My copy of the deluxe edition of The Essential Dai Vernon has a problem. Evidently there was a spot of glue or something on the front cover of the book, and when it was stamped, the stamping actually went into this glue spot. The glue, in turn, adhered to the inside of the slip case. It's a really messy job.
