I'm hoping that someone can help me find this piece of music. It was featured at the start of Christian Farla's "dinnershow" performace where he began the evening with the Crystal Casket and then moved onto Origami. The YouTube link "Origami Illusion by Christian Farla" was posted here in another category earlier this Spring. The background dancers were dressed in gold Victorian ball gowns and several water features were displayed in the forefront. The music was AWESOME, remeniscent of the Victorian/Classical age with the string instruments but it also had a modern uptempo beat and syth embelishments.
Anyhow, the link no longer works and I can't seem to find it so I was hoping that maybe one of my friends here on the Café might know just what I'm referring to so that I can obtain the music- not for a perfomance of course, just for my ears (I like it that much). Thanks! James |

Hi Donal! I Emailed him back in January and received no response In fact it was within days of my sending my Email telling how much I enjoyed his YouTube perfomance at the dinnershow, asking if he would mind sharing the name of the music used, that his YouTube performance was removed altogether! LOL, so I couldn't help but wonder if maybe he might have been "less than pleased" with my interest in his music and pulled the video? Perhaps I should try again, it wouldn't hurt right?

Here is an idea, call your local musicians union and ask if they can recommend any Chamber music musicans groups. Then call them and see if they can suggest any good tunes.
I remember there are small Chamber music groups in our area that play at weddings and in stores and malls. Usually, a trio group of string instruments. That way you are not coping and you will have some great music. Or maybe the group has a CD to sell you. |

I appreciate your idea, thanks! That's a great suggestion that I would definitley go with if I were looking for an original piece to perform to. But I just want to purchase this particular piece to listen to for my own enjoyment. It's got such a unique sound a melody, just beautiful
