Magi-
I am looking for sources that detail methods for secretly folding a card. I am familiar with a one handed method (Ammar) and the mercury fold, but I am hoping for better. I am trying to work it into a routine utilizing JKs Mystery Box. I heard that Bill Simon has a killer card fold? Thanks- |

John Bannon goes over his card fold in his book "Impossibilia" and then has new handlings of it in "Smoke and Mirrors" I believe he titles his fold "Creased Lightning" Enjoy!

Right on, Luke... check out "Smoke and Mirrors".
And from my experience (I've used both the Ammar and the Mercury fold in the past), the key is in the misdirection during the fold and load. Cheers! :coffee: |

In an old set of John Kennedy lecture notes, he detailed an easy way to take your time, while folding the card. It was published with his "Card to Can" handling, in the mid 80s.

Do you know the method for the card fold when doing the "Card to mouth" routine?
That is a nice and easy method for folding a card. |

Steve Bedwell demonstrates and teaches a card fold combined with a convincing control on the Secret Sessions Combined Tape. I wouldn't describe this kind of thing as being easy though!

I use the Mercury Card Fold for 2 routines. This has suited my purposes just fine. I did see Steve Bedwell do his fold on his A-1 tape, and he does an incredible job with it.

You may also want to give the "Simey Fold" a try from Simon Lovell's book "Simon Says." Very different from the Mercury fold technique, but effective.

Tommy Wonder has some wonderful thoughts on card folding (as does master card folder Jay Sankey).

Check out Best of Sankey Vol#3 (DVD & VHS) where he does a mercury fold.
