In issue no; 7 (1976) of Invocation features an effect called The Effigy of Pazuzu. It also in the final notes of the explaination of this wonderful sounding effect mentions that it was possible to buy the required "effigy doll" ready to go. Does anyone know where it would be possible to otain a doll ready to work. Also where should I look for the required Chemicals.
I am also intrested to hear from anyone who uses/used this great idea. Many Thanks in advance, Luke. |

Be aware that the Effigy also comes with the "Curse of Pazuzu."
It is my understanding that this effect never worked at any of the Invocations that it was presented at.

I believe the Pazuzu effect was concocted by Brother Shadow. He may be able to supply the info re: chemicals/figure etc.
Please contact me off list and I'll try to put you in touch with him. Best thoughts, John |

You may also wish to check out "Kymystical Magic," quite possibly the best supplier of chemical-based magic around:
http://kymystical.freeyellow.com/kymystical.html I don't see the necessary chemicals on the site itself, but if you e-mail them directly, they may be able to get you what you need.

I have performed the Effigy of Pazuzu. I made my own with the instructions of Brother Shadow in the Invocation issue. I use an invocation for the god of fire from the Necronomicon. In Ecuador, the chemicals are avaible in any pharmacy or in any chemical house. I understand that these chemicals are avaible in the drugstores in many countries (I don't know about England's pharmacys)However, one of them (P.P.) may be restricted in some countries (in mine, indeed, you cannot purchase more than 100 grams) because it is used for making cocaine and another illegal drugs.

'Demon dirt' from Kymystical (check out Philemon's post) is what you're after.

Just a word of warning:
That stupid sound clip is the most annoying *** thing I've ever heard on a website! WTH Mark ?! You can't even turn that crap off, even though the control bar appears. (I couldn't anyway) At first, it sounds like a pack of barking dogs or something, it's very .. scratchy. I dunno about you guys, but I detest sound clips that automatically get sprung on you when you visit a website. IMO, that's even worse than blinking text.
Just hanging out with the rest of my fellow dregs.
