In the early morning the magic Café is really running slow for me. I go to other web sites that this doesn't happen, but the morning speed is really slow here. It could be just me, but I am waiting a long time for my posts to load.

This morning I made a post, got a cup of coffee, came back, and it was not loaded yet. Now I'm able to do it effortlessly. I hope that the big censor in the sky is reading this thread.

The Café has been up and running normally all morning. Not being a tech person, I would assume the problem is with the service provider and not the Café.

There have been issues in the past with comcast but I can't tell for sure if this is the problem or not. Just an idea.

I didn't say to keep you mouth shut, Al. I just offered it as an idea. If it starts affecting other members with a different service provider, then there's obviously a different answer.

It is well known that I have a big mouth, but I remember the day the Café disappeared. I was sitting in my living room, and my wife asked me "arn't you going to talk to your friends tonight dear?"

I have Comcast also and was experiencing the same problem. I sent the Tech Help people a separate post on this problem before I discovered Al's post.

I went in and cleared my Temp Internet Files, History and cookies using IE browser. (I could not figure out how to do it using Firefox.) When I came back on line using Firefox, The Café loaded right up and the time delay between pages is very fast.

I'm not certain if my fiddling with IE affected my improved usage in Firfox or if the speed up was merely a coincidence. However I mention the clearing of the Temp Internet File, History and cookies as a possible solution to the problem. Quite frankly, I was suspecting an unwanted cookie as causing my problem. I'll never know what caused the "slow Café" problem but it is no presently a problem.
Magic is a vanishing Art.

Thanks I'll try that. It only happens occasionally, early in the morning, but it has not happened in a while.
