Instead of hiding the non googelable rooms at the bottom of the Café where nobody ventures why not put those rooms "up top"? For an example switch inner thoughts with pennies at the bottom? Or just make it so the entire site isn't so easily found to those that shouldnt be here.

Mainly because we have many more members that don't have access to the secret areas.
Out of curiosity, what's your thinking? What difference would it make?

It would make it so we can post in inner thoughts and it wont be so easy to find via google. I think the only reason people don't post in the protected areas is it is hidden at the bottom, so we get lazy.

Wow, too lazy to scroll.
Did you know you can hit the "END" key to get to the bottom immediately?
I am getting so tired of slitting the throats of people who say that I am a violent psychopath.

Well, I don't think the position of the forum has any bearing on google but to your point of people not posting to the inner thoughts, in Aug alone, there are over 50,000 views which means members are finding that forum. Whether they post or not has no bearing on it's location.

Interesting look at the numbers between pennies and inner thoughts. My understanding is that the banquet hall is protected from google, because it is "inner thoughts etc". Is this true? So why not make that the popular place to post? I'll guarantee that if you switch them places inner thoughts posts will go up and pennies will go down.
Slyhand I am not to lazy, but people are creatures of habit. They go to the same spot. If the majority start posting in inner everyone follows. Dave getting 50 posts in the Café is hardly a challenge. I could start an account right now and have 50 posts in 30 minutes. Want to watch? |

Not to argue but I guarantee that if you posted 50 times, even in one day, let alone minutes minutes, the posts would be deleted and the user name banned.
The place to post isn't a matter of being popular. The banquet hall is there for more indepth discussion which may include methods. That would include inner thoughts. Penny is for general conversations that anyone can contribute to. A person serious about mentalism would have no problem scrolling down or using the end key as slyhand suggested.

Try it then what do you have to lose? Prove me wrong! I think you are wrong personally. Move inner thoughts to where pennies is and move pennies down to the secret area. I am willing to bet inner thoughts post action increases significantly and pennies drops. Lets do it for a week and see.

Oh and BTW I know the 50 posts in 30 mins works, because I did it with this user name the first day I created it. I actually think in under and hour I had over 100 posts. None got deleted. Sure that was awhile ago and maybe you all look for that more now? But a few years ago it didn't take much.

Oh and last thing. I know the income of the Café revolves around inflated posts/hits/members, so google is crucial to your success. Can you tell me why it is such a big deal not to protect the areas, so they are not found so easily by google?

Ask me no questions and I'll tell you no lies.
Seriously, the forums are the way they are for many reasons and Google has absolutely nothing to do with it. With new members joining each day and with hundreds of new posts being made I have no doubt that its possible for someone to creat fifty worthless posts so they can gain access to specific forums and not get caught by our mods. You have admitted to doing so yourself and therefor I now have no reason to ever read anything you write on this board. Finally, if you are really that paranoid about folks seeing your posts (you must be if you're concerned about Google) you might seriously consider keeping your magic chat limited to just emails between yourself and a few friends.
