I came across this book (free, online) - Indian Conjuring by L. H. Branson
It's super-brief, but a really nice perspective on East Indian conjuring with interesting photos. You'll recognize many of the effects here. http://www.gutenberg.org/etext/27353 He states in the text that one family of three generations of Indian itinerant conjurers have never seen the "Rope Trick." No surprise there! P.S. Houdini's "Miracle Mongers" can also be found on the site |

http://www.martinbreese.com/dvd.htm I have not seen it yet, but it looks interesting. |
