What a great conference. If you were not there you missed some great performances and great lectures. You don't want to miss the next Advance conference in Pigeon Forge September 2011

That is great to hear- wish so much I could have been there! Maybe some year in the future ADVANCE can be going on during the FCM convention as an optional big event- that would be the best of all worlds for sure- and I think could increase attendance for both FCM and ADVANCE- a win/win. I hope that would be something Duane and the FCM brass would consider- it would be wonderful and would show all a great ability to work together for even a more outstanding convention. Literally a conference within a convention. Wow- it would be the "must attend" event of the year for any Gospel magician.

For me, this was one of the best confereneces I have attended in a long time. Well worth the drive and planning to go to TN next year.
The magic is not in our sleights and illusions, but instead in our ability to bring love and joy.

Revmike, can you share some of the effects that they went over in the lectures? Do they also give some biblical presentations that go with each effect? Tom

Tbaer to answer your question there was a TON of magic presented including, Silk magic and manipulation, Childrens magic including use of silk cabby, dove pan and alphabet deck, change bag, square circle...Platform Magic with ABC blocks, Cearly Immposible, multiplying bottles, some Tora products some of Laflins original magic and the list goes on and on..lots of magic and YES lots of gospel application. As well as advice on Rehersal, set up, use of music, use of sound system, booking shows, costuming, and a lot more "real world" advioe. This confrence was fantastic..I wish more of you could have made it....

It is my hope (or perhaps a pipe dream) that maybe ADVANCE would be presented during the FCM convention sometime. Of course, registrants would pay extra for that instruction. Would that be great or what?- being able to attend the FCM events, visit all the dealers, take advantage of their food and housing, etc.. yet still be able to receive optional ADVANCE Gospel magic tutoring and instruction--- that would be soooo very neato... Roger
