Did you eat at the Seattle one? They are unaffiliated.
Seattle has Dick's near the college. Ours is bigger though, and the meat is often much greasier.

I thought you were talking about the Seattle chain. If you're gonna talk about great burgers no one beats Miners

The only Dick's we have around here is a giant sporting goods chain.

No sweat Payne, I didn't know they weren't the same restaurant until two days ago. I don't think many people do.
We used to have a place here called "Burger Basket." Their burgers were delicious and ginormous! What's that place over by Archie McPhee's? They have a jalapeno popper burger. The whole thing is breaded and deep fried. Heart attack in a bun. Man that thing is awesome. Okay, I'm gonna' have to go on a road trip soon. I also have a rule that everytime I am in that area I must get oyster shooters and Piroshki. Al, I've ordered some camping stuff from the Dick's sporting goods website before. They have decent prices.

There's both a dick's and a Kidd Valley near Archie's. Haven't seen a jalapeno popper burger on Kidd Valley's menu though. Sounds more like something you'd get at as Red Robin.
There's a new Chinese place down from Archie's though that has Dim Sum every day that you should give a try. It's right across from Kidd Valley
