You are releasing illusions at a very rapid rate lately. It was only just a few months agao that the elevator came out. No you have the Devils Reflection, and Fractured.
Are these ideas you have had for some time and only know are releasing them? Or have you had a sudden "creative spurt" and if so, do you feel that the success of the first one helped bring on that creativity? Lastly, what is on the horizon from you? Chad |

Well Chad Im glad you asked that...
First, a project goes into evaluation before we determine what and when to release something or even attempt to build it. Many factors are taken into consideration. Such as market demand, our availability to create and test new illusions, availability of the materials needed to manufacture and sell an illusion or product, etc, etc... As for Fractured and The Devil's Reflection...The Devil's Reflection was supposed to have been released before the Elevator, but we came accross a few obstacles with our new design, etc...so it was a late release. I had been using the illuison in the past, but this was a new model and design we were trying to create for the rest of the magic community. The illuison took well over a year just to design let alone create and build the thing... Fractured was an Idea I had for only a short time, so I guess you could call it a creative spurt. We have so many illusion Ideas waiting in the wings, but sometimes you have to "Shelf" and idea. When I first introduced Fractured to Shawn, he wanted to Shelf it right away because of how busy we were at the time with our other new or upcomming releases like the Elevator. Not to mention he could see a few building obstacles immediately, and knew this would not be an easy illusion to design. Method...Yes, construction...NO... But we eventually decided to do some serious R&D on it, and after talking with and old friend who used to build stuff with us many years ago, he helped solve some of those obstacles...The rest was history solving the little things as we went through our prototype process. Whats in the store...? I can't really say everthing...Top Secret stuff... But I will mention that me And Chad Sanborn, discussed last year about releasing an Illusion called LIGHT SPEED. This illuison being the fastest and cleanest vanish of person in history. And Guess what we are still planning on building and releasing this illusion. So stay tunned. And keep an eye on us as I will be releasing new illusions and effects on a regular basis, so check back with us often. P.

Light speed sounds very interesting.
One illusion I have always loved is the european asrah purely becuse no rig work is required. If you can design a great form and zombie gimmick together with a deceptive table base - that would be great. I don't like the versions on the market at the moment. One of the bases on the market is humungus. However I saw Geoffry Durham (UK magician) perform his version of the floating lady under cloth and it looked great - she (rather the form) was so light and he wasn't straining with the form at all.

Just to add: Peter has been kind enough to discuss some ideas he has been working on with me, and the stuff always blows my mind. For example, one day when we were out, we chatted about "Devil's Reflection" (or "Satan Sees Himself", as I affectionately called it!) and "Fractured" and the ideas just knocked me over. I've been thinking of adding "Fractured" to my show, as it totally fits my style (I already have an idea of how to use it).
You would think that Peter has a lot of time on his hands so he can figure this stuff out, but he doesn't; he's always busy! Shawn and he work out the ideas to make things work. I can't wait to see "Light Speed" and anything else those guys create! |

I would also have to agree that I would love to see Light Speed.
Sounds like it would be a great addition to the L2Illusion line. If it does hit the market I'm sure it will be well received. Let me know if it ever becomes available! I would be interested in taking a look at it. All the best, Mike |

Thanks guys,
Here is also a couple of other themes that are planned for release, Being burned alive visibly! A re-release of Sudden Fire(but a remote controlled version) And a few others that I simply just cannot mention due to the chance of someone stealing our ideas. But trust us we have some very cool and unique items on their way! P.
