____________________________________________________________________________________ Halloween Happenings at The Magic Cabaret! This Wednesday, October 6, celebrate the spirit of the season with a special Halloween edition of The Magic Cabaret! P.T. Murphy will be out of town, but he'll be there in spirit when David Parr is joined by guest performer Joe Diamond for an evening of magic, mystery, and mischief. The magic of Halloween is on the menu, and David will be serving up his favorite flavors: the strange, the supernatural, and the delightfully uncanny! Joey D will be giving folks a taste of the phenomenal goings-on from his hit show Paranormal! And as a special Halloween treat, David will be debuting a new magical creation, a confection he calls "The Ghost Light"! Experience the magic of the Halloween season at The Magic Cabaret! Wednesday, October 6 at 7:30pm The Greenhouse Theater Center 2257 North Lincoln Avenue Tickets $20. No one under age 13 admitted. Call (773) 404-7336 or visit http://www.magic-cabaret.com If you buy your tickets at the theater, you'll have a chance to get amazing discounts. Your ticket may even be free! It's a Magic Cabaret tradition called the Pick-a-Card Discount, and here's how it works. Come to the box office window and say "I'd like to pick a card," and you will have an opportunity select a card (no peeking!) from a shuffled pack. The face value of the card plus $10 is the price you pay for your ticket! If you pick an Ace, your ticket costs $11! If you pick a Two, your ticket costs $12! Face cards have a value of $10, so no matter what card you get, the most you'll pay is the regular ticket price. And if you pick one of the two Jokers, your ticket is FREE! (This discount is only for tickets purchased at the box office window for that evening's show. Discount is offered only at time of purchase and cannot be applied to previously purchased tickets.) The Greenhouse Theater Center is located in the heart of Chicago's lovely Lincoln Park neighborhood, just a short walk from the Fullerton stop on the EL's Red, Brown and Purple lines. Metered parking is available on the street; discount parking is available at the nearby Children's Memorial Hospital parking structure. As featured in SHORE magazine and MAGIC magazine. http://www.facebook.com/magiccabaret http://www.magic-cabaret.com |
