Been a good bit of time since I've interacted with the magic world. Used to hang out with Chosse, Levine, Steve Beam, Mike Skinner, Jerry Camaro, and assorted others....
Any old friends hanging around? Steven Youell |

Of the five you mentioned, a couple are dead, but Chosse has recently posted a few times here.

Steven,
I remember you, although I'm sure you won't remember me. Back in the mid 90's (in August of '94 or '95, I believe), I saw you perform in the close-up room in the Magic Castle (an all-card act as I recall), and afterwards, Aldo Colombini introduced us (I was his guest). The three of us hung out for about an hour at Vernon's old love seat, and Aldo had me do my sponge ball routine for you. You were very kind and complimentary. I remember your show as being very good, and you were very comfortable, competent and entertaining. Hope all is well, Scott (Aldo's friend from Idaho)

Hey Steve!
It's Dorian. How are you? We have not talked in quite a while. Hope all is well. I just performed one of your effects in front of 200 people at a meeting the other day and it killed. Once again I hope your doing great. Talk to you soon. Dorian Rhodell |

If by "remember you" you mean the time you put the bag on my head at the IBM Convention close up show, then...yeah.
How you been? I had a nice chat with Chosse a few months ago. It is great how The Cafe is bringing you "underground" guys back into the frey. You have been missed. Tom |

Welcome to The Magic Cafe Steve, I know we must have met at one point or another.
Jerry was a dear friend, I miss him very much. I talked with Paul a couple of weeks ago, he seems to be doing great, we exchanged Jerry stories. I miss the old sessions with Jerry Camaro, Paul Chosse, Dan McClain, Bill Goodwin, Jack Carpenter, Larry Jennings, Michael Skinner, etc. I'll most likely be at the IBM in San Diego come July. Will be rooming with Reed McClintock, Steve Dobson, Dorian Rhodell, Ichazod, and perhaps a couple surprises. Could it be the old gang may yet get together again?

So, what's the most valuable tip you ever picked up by hanging out with those illustrious gentlemen you mentioned?
