I use Rocky all the time in my shows. Just be yourself. It's okay to watch other routines but be yourself.
Relate to Rocky like he is real. People talkl to their pets. What would you really say to Rocky if he were real? Try not to copy word for word what others are doing. Most of all, have fun with him and so will your audience. |

Here's a line I use at adult parties: "Rocky, you're a bit stinky. Didn't I tell you to stay away from Richard Gere."
Google it! |

Back when I copied the "no live animal's bit", my skunk spring animal's nose went flying out into the audience. My mouth dropped than said the first thing that came to my mind. Well, I guess he doesn't smell anymore.
Haven't used him lately, but I could rig his nose to fall off when he sneezes. I use a similar bit with my tennis ball puppet, that sneezes and his eyes pop off. Just the right amount of duct tape is needed to keep the eyes from being too floppy or to tight and won't fall off. Accidents lead to bits to be repeated in future shows.
