I don't know what gaffs are used but this is the most direct version of a 3 Fly I have seen. I like the fact that there is
no transfers of the coins back and forth. Anyone know if this is on DVD or published or something similar? Don't know why I can't post the direct link but it is the main video on http://www.youtube.com/conceptmagic |

I don't understand what you mean by, "no transfers of the coins back and forth?" He regroups the coins in one hand after each pass. His final flash-vanish of the single coin is kinda neat but hardly angleproof, methinks.
It is possible to do a 3Fly in which the hands never touch at all -- that is "no transfer" a far as I am concerned.

Thanks. I probably have not seen all the 3 Fly routines out there but all I have seen has the second coin "fly" back or the 3rd coin go invisibly. I guess I liked the directness and seemingly "one direction" way the coins seem to go from hand to hand if that makes sense

Didn't we discuss this before - I even think a new topic was raised Phlye vs. Super Fly - For the money and the effect I say Phlye does all you want and more. Last I heard Mr Townsend even thinks Phlye is a super version of 3 fly.

My vote goes to Phlye too! I am a noob...I have studied many versions of this routine. This one is clean, smooth, and can be customized to fit style...good visual show starter...my 2 pennies

I like having six options/chances to raven away that last coin and recover on the off beat to end with a clean display.
Still waiting for some one to suggest using a glass or plastic disc for that last vanish - you drop it into your glass of water - wait a sec - take a sip then look over to where it went.
...to all the coins I've dropped here
