Hi,
I'd like to replace a few plastic canes with colored metal canes. I have been considering the Mahka Tendo Appearing Canes as I know that they are of good quality. I've also heard about cheap knock offs costing about $25 and I will avoid them. However, recently I have found these canes from Hank Lee's. Does anyone here have any experience with them? Do you have any comments about them? Thanks for your input. http://www.hanklee.org/xcart/product.php......0&page=1 Posted: Oct 20, 2010 5:33am I just found these too. Are they legit? http://www.magicfront.com/html/product_129.html

I think Seo Magic is an authorized distributor for Mahka's cane. These others are knockoffs.

Seo Magic - Mahka Tendo Appearing Canes (single color)
http://www.seomagic-usa.com/catalog/prod......ts_id/70 Being Mahka Tendo passed away at a very early age, it is hard to say, who is telling the truth. The others look more like something made in India then Japan. I would get the $25.00 one just to see if it is really a Tendo cane. There must be something wrong, like high postage rates, maybe. How could you sell a $142.00 cane for $25.00. Does not add up. The decision is yours. |

How tall are the SEO appearing canes compared to the Walsh and Harakan? They look to me a little taller than a standard real-world cane would be.

Believe they are the same as the harakan. Mahka told me he got the spring streel from the same source as harakan.

I love my Tendo Appearing Cane. Bill had posted a source for some good, less expensive appearing canes that I meant to try, but just haven't gotten around to purchasing one yet. I could use a silver one for a certain routine I do, so I may look up that old thread soon.
