DealingDeuces has been working with the USPC to bring back one of the Best Designs Ever, The Arrco Tahoe Back Design, which has not been printed for some time. The Uspc knows that Quality is of the utmost importance for this deck and assured us that they will deliver.
Decks will be manufactured on Casino Grade Bee Stock that measures 11.2 in thickness. This is the stock Bee Casino Cards are printed on. The finish being used is a new type of finish which has been developed by Jason and Jonathon from T11 and Ellusionist. All decks are traditionally cut and Q1 Quality. The first Design out will be Black, followed next by Blue and Red. There is also a limited Edition Deck which will only have 1000 decks printed ever with the limited white and black design. The schedule release for these decks were to be sometime in December to coincide with the release of the Community Forum and this was to remain a secret, however due to unforseen circumstances and someone letting the cat out of the bag, we have decided to push up the release date to sometime in November. So these decks will be available sometime in November. We also have decided to do a Pre-Order on sets so on release date our site is not shut down due to traffic. We do not have an exact release date as of yet, but hopefully we will have one sometime soon. It definitely will be sometime in November. Checkout Dealingdeuces.Com for more information... Quality is the utmost importance for these decks and the USPC has assured us they will deliver the best deck they can. I will post more information as soon as I have it. Black is the first Deck being released followed next by Blue and Red Decks... |

That's great to hear...but I'll have to wait for their availability in Red/Blue, as that is what my gaffs are comprised of from way back when.

I like collecting specialty cards. But I'll wait until there is at least a confirmed release date first.
What will the prices on these decks be?

This is very nice to hear. I wish they would also bring back the old Bicycle Fan Backs that dropped out of sight in the early 90's? I remember Michael Skinner gave me My first deck of Bicycle fan backs several years ago. He told Me "I think you will like these" I did they became my favorite at that time.

You can thank USPC for buying Arco and stopping production of the back.

Some of the Marlo manuscripts with special cards were produced on the Arrco decks in the 1980's before they were bought out by USPC. Unfortunately many of the decks I received were warped and unusable. One of the effects was "The Mental Secret" which I really liked the premise of but the decks were horrible. One of the decks was a roughed red/blue Mene-Tekel deck; I forget what the other one was. I think it was just unlucky as a lot of magicians raved about these decks.

Yes, ARCCO decks were pliable and nice to riffle shuffle even on a table. I liked that they wrapped their deck in silk foil. Made them seem expensive and high quality. I still have a couple decks.
The Bicycle Fan deck was my favorite, I made all my gimmicked decks for specialty trick out of them before using poker size cards was "in". Could never find them in the Midwest. They only sold them on the East coast for some reason, so I had to special order by the dozen back in the 1970's and 80's. Tally Ho Number 9 circle back was another favorite among the expert card men in the Western States and West coast. |
