Caleb's book, High Spots, was one of my favorites in a long time. It's filled with clever, commercial magic that kills.

His new book, Six Pack, provides more clever stuff. It was the hit of the recent Carolina Close Up Convention. It is now available on Caleb's site (www.calebwilesmagic.com). There's also a very cool new item called "Fully Automatic Card Trick." Caleb showed me this effect awhile back and I encouraged him to market it. It's now available on his site. It's a trick where the magician never touches the deck! Very cool indeed.

This came through today and I've had a chance to fully read and use some of the effects in it. I absolutely LOVED High Spots so to bring anything even remotely as good as that out would be a miracle. Suffice to say, he did it and did it well! This is a brilliant continuation to high Spots. It doesn't quite have the production quality of High Spots but the material means this is not an issue. "All signs point to yes" and "Clue" are both honestly worth the price of the book three times over. The whole book reeks of practical and quality effects. Caleb is fast becoming one of my most favourite card creators. If you don't buy this book, your missing out. AND it's such a steal for the brilliant routines inside!

In the interest of full disclosure, Caleb is a friend of mine; regardless, this book reflects what I've come to expect from (and respect about) Caleb - hard-hitting card magic that has an entertaining presentation and premise without being too heavy on technical complexity. At this time, my favorites from this book are "Problem Solved" and "Armchair Mind Reading." Caleb showed me "Armchair Mind Reading" a while back while he was still working out the kinks, and it completely fried me.

Do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of this booklet - and if you get the chance, be sure to see Caleb's lecture.

Caleb has also put together a very clever layman lecture geared toward students on the topic of math - this lecture merges magic and math in a way that will help students see the elegance inherent in numbers. If you are an educator and are looking for a special event that is both educational and entertaining, you should strongly consider booking Caleb.

Nice review. From the description of the material, I think I will enjoy this even more than you did.

I must confess, I am the exact opposite of most magicians: the tricks that excite me are not magician foolers. The tricks I get excited about are those which I think will play great for lay people. Don't get me wrong, I love clever methods as much as the next guy. But unless a novel method is practical and can be done for really people, I probably won't bother with it.

"All Signs Point To Yes" sounds great to me!
