Metal was finally released today! I ordered both the DVD and download. I hope I'm one of the first 100 to have ordered.
When God created Eric Jones, He left no coin unturned. Eric has exceptional clarity and agility as both teacher and performer. In other words, he's absolutely brilliant! Eric goes over everything you need to know about coins in this 2 hour jammed packed DVD. With everything Eric teaches you'll have all the tools to create your own routines. I'll try to give a more detailed review when I get more time. In the meantime this is without a shadow of a doubt the best coin dvd I have ever purchased. Eric starts with some simple stuff for beginners and progresses to more difficult moves. Theory, misdirection and so much more.

I also purchased the DVD but not the download. Looking forward to cracking open the case and seeing what Eric has to offer. I haven't seen any of his work just heard he's got chops!

I've been having fun learning some of the new material taught by Eric in this DVD. Thank goodness Eric can teach without wasting too much time with unneccesary banter.
With this DVD Eric has inspired me to take my coin magic to an all new level. Things I once thought to difficult for me to learn and master at my age now seems more possible than ever. I'll never be as good as Eric, but Eric does a great job teaching that I now have the confidence in knowing that with consistant practicing I will be the best that I can be. Don't get me wrong, not everything on here is something that will take a long time to learn. Matter of fact, you'll learn everything quite quickly. Some moves taught will have you ready to perform with less practice than some of the other moves, and nothing taught is too difficult to learn, even for an old dog like me who once thought that great coin magic took years and years of practice. Although I still believe that to a point, Eric will have you up and ready to start performing some pretty cool effects using nothing but regular coins in no time. Never stop practicing though. Polishing your routines is a life time commttment in my opinion. If you're new to coin magic I highly recommend this DVD. Learning from Eric will put you on the right track, no question about it! If you are a pro at coin effects, and can easily figure out what Eric is doing in the trailer, then this might not be your cup of tea. But hey, you're a pro! The tea you drink is problem a tea that no one else drinks. However, if you want to see if there was a way to inhance the flavour of your tea, this DVD might be the right ingredient.

I concur totally on Eric Jones brilliant choreographies and I'm a fan of his repeatedly confirmed exceptional talent for deceptive and slick magic. He really has the Vernon Touch. Like many of us, I never have enough of his magic.

I've been working through Metal for the past week and have been enjoying the material.
I really like the Jones Spellbound routine. I posted an entire review at http://www.coinmagictricksblog.com/produ......c-jones/. I'm hoping to hear there will be a Metal 2 release that features even more routines! |
