I bought a TT about 5 years ago from a magic shop in new york for about $5 and it was the best TT I've ever used. I lost it a few weeks ago and havent found one that feels like it.It was a HARD plastic and had textured lines on the inside of the thumb part. I've tried other tips but this was by far the best for me. Its not the vernet classic tip and if anyone knows what the name of this tip is thanks a lot as I've been searching for it for weeks.

I recommend that you go to the next magic convention in your area. There are always dealers at these conventions, selling their tricks and accessories. Here you can find "buckets" full of TT's, and you can look until you find exactly what you want.

Another thing you can do with the hard plastic TT to get it to fit better. Is to put it in hot (almost boiling) water for just a few seconds, and then fit it to your liking...BE CAREFUL THE TT IS NOT TOO HOT BEFORE FITTING IT...Also do not leave it in the hot water too long or it will melt and be too hot to work with. Another way to prevent getting burned is to wear a tight fitting latex dish washing glove and then fit the TT over the glove...Hope this helps and good luck...RJ

The Japanese semi-hard tips have the thumb prints and are great quality.
I sell em for under $5

I have some that I bought from Hank Morehouse, that are textured and hard. He told me that they're made by Fun Inc.
