Hello,
Spent a couple of hours tonight checking out a few of these discussions and decided to come on in (join)! Greetings from Fairfied County, Connecticut where I'm involved as a magic hobbyist and P/T performer with the NMA (New Magicians Association) out of Bridgeport. Looking forward to getting more involved. Nice to meet you all (in advance)! Mr. Jeffo |

Welcome misterjeffo,
Nice to meet you. When you're not a New Magician anymore will the NMA kick you out? We won't. - Mary Mowder |

I don't think so Mary, thanks.
The NMA isn't really new either...It was established as an alternative to SAM and IBM local chapters in this area. Our club brings in about 3-4 nationally know performers to lecture each year. This year we've hosted Michael Ammar, Gazzo, Kostya Kimlat and most recently, Mark Mason. They do a nice job. Looking forward to delving into the Café community soon! Jeff |

Welcome aboard misterjeffo!
What a cool idea to have an alternative to the IBM and SAM! While there is nothing wrong with either - I am an IBM member - I think the idea of an independent club is a great idea. अहिंसा Vlad |
