Hello,
Spent a couple of hours tonight checking out a few of these discussions and decided to come on in (join)! Greetings from Fairfied County, Connecticut where I'm involved as a magic hobbyist and P/T performer with the NMA (New Magicians Association) out of Bridgeport.

Looking forward to getting more involved.
Nice to meet you all (in advance)!

Welcome misterjeffo,

Nice to meet you.

When you're not a New Magician anymore will the NMA kick you out? We won't.

I don't think so Mary, thanks.

The NMA isn't really new either...It was established as an alternative to
SAM and IBM local chapters in this area. Our club brings in about 3-4 nationally know performers to lecture each year. This year we've hosted Michael Ammar, Gazzo, Kostya Kimlat and most recently, Mark Mason. They do a nice job.

Looking forward to delving into the Café community soon!

Welcome aboard misterjeffo!

What a cool idea to have an alternative to the IBM and SAM! While there is nothing wrong with either - I am an IBM member - I think the idea of an independent club is a great idea.

Yes, I agree Vlad,
