I purchased the book because I was told I would learn about the dice effect shown in the link earlier in this thread. Is this the case?

I have it and I love it!
Ed Marlo was a fan of Del, now I am too. His "dry" humor is utterly charming. The DVD that comes with the book shows him performing his stage act and his Close up act.

I too have the book and really enjoy it. I do think it is too bad that much of his magic died with him in his desire to keep it secret. It seems to me that magic gets better when shared. The secrets are not the magic, it is the performance. No one will perform like Del Ray as no one can.
However, I am very happy about the book as, even though the effects are not described in detail, there is enough there to give one an idea of how it was done. Up until the book, I thought the dice ladder was a matter of how precisely the tiers were made and angled. I now know better. KJ |
