A few months ago my Pit Bull Loki, the worlds sweetest pup, saved a cat that was otherwise going to be a dead cat, I shan't go into details cuz they are gross. Either way my dog goes one of two ways with cats, either he loves them or he wants to kill them and will if he catches 'em. Well this cat, who has moved in since Winter hit (much to the anger of my wife) will not leave the dog alone. It follows him around, sleeps with him, rubs on him, and as of today if he tries to get away the cat just latches on with her paws to his leg and gets dragged along for the ride. Poor dog can't get a break.

Oh yeah...does she still have a cat? Koko was very popular in the bay area as she lived at Stanford, might be in Hawaii now I'm not sure. There was even a childrens book about Kokos kitten.

Years ago I went to see 'Koko - a talking gorilla' and there was a short doco first about strange pets in New York. It had people who kept bees, spiders, coyotes/wolves in their basement etc.
Some mother's group had got the wrong idea about Koko the talking gorilla and the theatre was filled with little kids. In the pet doco this guy had a bullfrog and dropped a mouse into its tank. The place was filled with cute cries of 'froggy' and 'mousey' for a while until the bullfrog gobbled the mouse up and then it turned into a den of screams. Good times.

My wifes kids in her school wanted a pet frog so I got this cute lil' tiny frog for them, named it Puck Verde cuz it looked like a green hockey puck. This cute lil' frog was the most vicious thing I've ever seen. It grew from crickets to goldfish to pinky mice. My wife freaked out and tried to kill it and sprayed it with something and it regurgitated it's guts then when I touched it it got so mad it swallowed 'em back upon and lived! The vet says it does happen. It got about the size of a small plate before dying. Man that was a mean frog, if you walked past its tank it would jump at you and hang off its tongue. It was a Venezualan something or other frog

That would be a pixie frog or Pac Man frog.
I love those things. Basically a big pet rock that eats other pets. Wonderful fun! |

Yes! Pacman frog, also Venezualan Horned Frog. They are really aggressive. You dump a handfull of gold fish in there and this lump goes into slaughter mode.

I think, and I could be wrong, that while Koko really loves kittens and is nurturing to them she is also a huge Gorilla and accidently kills them from time to time (that's not her fault ...she's a huge gorilla) and there have been many kittens
