Today, I was in one on my local used book stores and saw "Encyclopedia of Dove Magic," Vol 2, by Ian Adair. It had no dust jacket, but was otherwise in good condition. I am sorry, it was written in the 50's or 60's --I think.
Anyway, The book was selling for under 10.00. I do not do dove magic, but was thinking about picking it up, for General Purpose. Anyone know anything about this book? Kevin |

HI,
Actually volume 2 was written in 1970 and put out by Supreme Magic. There are 5 volumes. I have all except vol 4, which is the rarest and hard to get. I think that they have a wealth of ideas -- some better than others. I would recommend them particulary at that price. I find them useful and I do not work with doves! They have lots of rabbit vanishes and productions too. Also they are useful for any production / vanish methods/ideas if you are the creative type. Phillip |

Thank you for the input. I gues, I will pick it up tomorrow and put it on the shelf for GP, If I run across vol 4, I will let you know, as I spend a bit of time in used book stores.
Thanks again. Kevin |

$10.00 would be a steal for the Dove encyclopedia.
They are a fantastic read even if you don't do dove magic. I didn't know that vol.4 was limited in publication (My volume 4 is signed by Ian Adair[author]). |

My volume 5 is an autographed copy from Ian Adair to Edwin (Former owner of Supreme, now deceased).

Infact I do a dove act and would be interested in buying it off you (If you want). If you have any more questions, please ask. Thanx, Joey |
