Just received the Ring Reel and I must say it is a very nice custom made prop from the famous hightly talented James P. Riser, expert magic manufacturer and creative artison of magic props.
The case is stainless steel, with a nice claw clip that is designed for quick release of the ring. To reduce wear on the line, the case swivels thus helping to make the line last a long time. It uses a belt clip to attach at any point on your body. If you are looking for a method to vanish a finger ring and discover it in a new location, being it a box, egg, walnut, etc. I urge you to consider this very limited Ring Reel Pull offering. Can also be used to vanish gimmicks, duplicate finger rings or duplicate Ellis Rings. There is no locking device built into this Ring Reel, so it is not designed to be used in a pre-set position. My idea for placement: If you need an unusual place to attach the reel, just use a safety pin, and slide the clip down on the exposed bar of the pin. No instructions are included with this device as it is not a trick in itself, but an assistant to give the performer another choice to perform his magic. This can also be used as a pull for many other effects. Jay Scott Berry use to use a reel of this type to retrive his gimmicks and vanish them after use. Want to get rid of your color changing silk dye tube, this will do it for you as well. Highly Recommended and a bargain at only $80.00 See it here: http://www.jamesriser.com/Magic/JamesRiserMagic.html |
