My son says he's seen a kid in his high school do what sounds like the Notis Cascade (or some sort of one handed riffle shuffle) done in both hands at once. Anyone have a link to any video of this?

I can do a one handed shuffle with both hands at once, I just haven't posted it on the web. If you can do a one handed shuffle, just split the deck into two and practice with both hands at the same time, the weak hand mirroring the strong hand. It's just like learning a one handed cut in both hands... Except it's a bit more frustrating.

I heard from a friend that anecdotal evidence is actually quite reliable. |

Yes, I just have yet to see a video on this I guess.

I'm still working on weaving the cards with my weak hand. Once I get that down, it'll be feasible for myself. Right now,at about the time I complete the shuffle with my strong hand (left-hand), I'm just completing the weaving action with my right hand. I'll eventually get there though...

And btw does anyone know of any one handed shuffle OTHER than the Vernon Notis Cascade? In other words aside from one handed shuffles in both hands simultaneously, has anyone seen or heard of any action different from Notus Cascade?

If so, wouldn't all multiple one hand cuts fit your criteria since ultimately, that's all a one hand overhand shuffle is? Not exactly quite sure what you're looking for. Do you own The Encyclopedia of Playing Card Flourishes? It may have some shuffles that fit your exact criteria. |

My original post was regarding something my son described to me seeing a kid in his high school do. So yes anything is possible including multiple single handed cuts. However he was pretty sure the kid was actually weaving the packets together.
