Hi all,
I am looking to buy a largish jar of RC and wondered about the best type to get for making gaffed envelopes, cutting bills in half, etc etc. The only stuff I have used is from my bicycle repair kit and that's a bit tempremental. Should I be getting a specific type that facilitates magical usage? Best Regards Alan |

Living in Norway I am not sure just what is available. Here in the U.S. The "Gold Standard" brand for rubber cement among artists is Best Test, a premium white rubber cement.
If Best Test does not exist there I would advise you to check with art supply stores or someone in graphic arts for what brand they would recommend.

Hi Frankft, The stuff I use now is clear so its almost invisable once dry, so the final light talcum powder dusting sets it off nicely.
I would have thought that a white colored cement would attract attention where it was unwanted? Certainly in the context of bills, envelopes etc etc. Thanks for the reply Alan |

Best Test white rubber cement dries clear. It is the premium rubber cement. In Europe, Fixogum or Pattex is probably the best choice.
