Is there such a thing as a voice-activated/voice-controlled DVD player? (Perhaps one for a computer DVD player?)
IMHO, when learning a complicated magic move being taught on a DVD, it would be productive to be able to play and control the DVD with voice commands. If so, then, with your hands all twisted up holding multiple ropes or multiple card breaks, etc., be able to say "Stop", "Rewind", "Play", etc, as needed. (It's either that or pay my wife to both 1) Control the remote and comply with my voice commands, AND, 2) Have to sit through what she views as an interminable and boring video. It would be close as to whether or not I'd run out of money before she ran out of patience and made a bank shot off of my head with the remote.) (grin) Mike

There are voice-activated universal remotes, which would basically achieve the same end. They're not hard to find in any decent-sized electronics store, or places like Brookstone/Sharper Image.

Thanks for that info, Scott. It is much appreciated.
Hopefully, such voice activated remotes are not all limited to just "on-off" but, instead, also includes rewind (and possibly fast forward?). Mike
