I tried to buy a TT from my local dealer (before it sadly went out of business) but they were all too small. Does anyone know about a seller who sells larger ones, or are they all standard size?

TT's come in different sizes, lengths, and colors. My recommendation is to attend a magic conference or lecture where TT's are available for sale - you can try them on until you find one that's perfect for you.

It's comforting to know that they are available in the right size, but unfortunately conferences and lectures are not very common in my area. Can you recommend an online shop that has a wide variety of them?

Take a piece of string or small strip of paper and measure around your thumb at the knuckle. Mine is 72 mm. Now divide this by 3.1416 (mine is 22.9, or 23 mm). This is the diameter of the TT you need. Google: Riccardos Novelty Emporium. He has TT's listed with diameters and lengths. If you can't find one that matches your diameter (or just a little larger), don't buy it! Good luck,

You could try the Vernet King Size TT. It is longer than the standard ones (don't know about the width)
Most online magic stores would stock these. Just google it.

Thanks.
Your measuring tip is especially helpful, Jim. Do you happen to know the dimensions of the King Size, Scott? |

The King is 2.5" long. You need to get used to a regular TT before using the King, in my opinion.

How are you trying to wear the tip? They are not supposed to fit snugly over the thumb all the way to the knuckle, like a miniature single digit glove.
Basically, if it will stay on your thumb while allowing space inside to store whatever you want to switch or steal then it's the right size. Rob |

Let's just say that when I tried to use the one I got from a friend, I had a completely different illusion.
