I've contacted the hosting company and my web guy but they found nothing wrong. Mcafee fixed the problem so its not longer set as Malicious...so hopefully the problem is fixed.
Thanks everyone |

Also many work places are getting sick of "social networking" sites and simply do not allow them to come through in any fashion on a network computer. There is starting to be a backlash from many employers about employees using them during working hours. I would not be shocked to keep hearing stories like this rather quickly. I would not have You Tube or Facebook host anything on my web page.

Benji,
I'm with Danny on this one, your web guy needs to be fired immediately! What if potential clients had the same experience with your site coming up as malicious! Your "web guy" should have tested your website (and test it frequently) to make sure there are no glitches. His checking process will include checking it from multiple IPs, multiple networks, multiple browsers, etc. Fire him and get a professional, that's what I recommend! |

This is a hosting issue...
do a reverse IP lookup.. your hanging out in a bad neighborhood.. this isn't the web guys fault, unless he has studied server security and knows a ton about internet marketing he would never think about looking at these things.. MOST web guys I know (and I know tons of em) have no clue about this stuff and it isn't something anyone I know of checks out of he gate... What MANY of us do is not promise any results unless you host where we suggest (as this solves the problem) many have no clue why they add that to their contract other than the SEO guys make em do it... Hostgator VPN would solve this their basic hosting is usually safe
its ok.. balloon dogs don't bite

Mike I'm hosting with Yahoo. So is it really a problem with them?
Thanks |

Benji;
I had a large hosting company for my web site, it was not good; I was treated like a number, every problem was a 30 minute wait on the telephone and a charge to repair a problem. I changed to gmbwebworks.com, the same company what hosts the Magic Café, since then all my problems have vanished, changes are made very quickly and my web site works. You may want to look into this service BTW, Norton shows your site as a safe site Buzz |

Ok thanks. I'll be sure to check them out. The only reason I went with yahoo is because I'm not a designer and it was easy to work with but I'll check out other companies.

Benji;
Here is the email of Mary; mary@gmbwebworks.com, the great thing about her is if I'm about to do something on my web page that's not good for me, she will email me and tell me about it She is very good at what she does |

Guys' sorry I'm so slow at answering... just really busy right now..
Yahoo doesn't discriminate.. they claim they will not host porn but they rarely police it.. the best one I have found (and have a private server with and dedicated IP addresses with) is hostgator with yahoo you might be able to upgrade to a dedicated IP address which has a good chance to solve the issue (not garenteed) but I ALWAYS suggest a dedicated IP.. I use 15 IP's for 60 sites, but I police the sites myself and don't allow junk on them (40 of them are mine)
its ok.. balloon dogs don't bite
