I recently bought some dollar sized copper token on-line.
(Man, it's really hard to find dollar sized coins, those I can find are pricey.)

These tokens are well designed, beautiful wedding token. Cheap yet elegant.
However, they are like new coins, the edges are sharp and the relief really stands out.
It is not silent and sleek enough to do sleights.

I am wondering is there any ways I can soften copper coins ?

Thanks.
Actually, I've read this thread.
As I know the methods being mentioned are for silver coins.
I wonder if I can do the same thing with my copper token.

Don't see why they would not work....but I hope the tokens are not copper clads.

A good source to check with may be your local coin dealer. Although their objective is always to keep coins in the best original shape; they get to see the results of some of the things people do to their coins. They may just have a suggestion or two. Good luck.
