Hi all!

My name is Luis Olmedo, I'm from Spain and I am 21 years old. I like close up magic, specially card magic.

I hope to learn a lot. Thanks for everything!

Welcome luisjolmed0,

I enjoy Close-Up Magic too (especially Card Magic).

I saw a Deck of Cards from Spain once and it was different than a Poker Deck. I think it was less than 52 cards. It was quite a beautiful deck though. Do you have regular Poker decks in Spain? Was the deck I saw normal or probably some specialty deck for a specific game?

Ey! Really, here we have a "own" deck, the spanish deck. It has 42 cards instead of 52, and is used to play to some traditional games.

For who doesn't know about it, here you have a image: http://www.google.es/imgres?imgurl=http:......r:12,s:0

But here, most of magicians use a poker deck. We use poker decks for magic, though some magicians use the spanish deck (Juan Luis Rubiales is a excellent magician, and he use this deck).

In any case, thanks for the welcome, and sorry for my english... hehe.

The spanish deck has 48 cards, and the poker deck is really a French deck
