I just bought Darwin's Inexpensive Illusions secondhand here at the Café, and I'm wondering if I've received a legitimate DVD or a bootleg.
The disc itself appears home-burned and the paper label appears printed on an inkjet. In fact, when the disc is held up to the light, the white inner ring says "Printable DVD-R". The case label appears inkjet-printed in brown on dull white cardstock, with some areas of black text on the back. However I've read vague comments about low production values on this (though I hadn't realized they might be referring to the physical media object itself), and the photo at Hank Lee looks just like what I'm holding, including the white inner ring on the disc itself. So maybe this is actually legit? http://www.hanklee.org/xcart/product.php?productid=8440 Can another owner speak to this? |

Most likely, legit. They are low quality.
