Hello:
The information about "Pet store prank" is very limited on the web and I cant find anything in old magazines and catalogs...so my question is: Is the same effect but with different story and props? I read about it in Silly Billy book and I know that David Ginn use it, but no description is available! Thanks, -H

Hello
Pet Store pranks is basically the same routine but the "folder" is designed to look like a pet store, and the cards are different animals: Fish, Parrot, Dog, Cat, Snake. You vanish the snake and it reappears inside the empty pet store by poking it's head out the top and sides of the pet store similar to the bookworm. This prop is very well made and colorful and gets a great response. I use it in my pre-school "Pet Store Magic Show" and have the chilren make the different animals sounds as I show each card and add lots of comedy. Hope this helps! |

Yup. Also "Who's who at the Zoo" and "Rabbit Rampage" are the same effect different pictures. I made a version with dinosaurs once, too, went down well.

Pet Store Pranks is a great effect and I perform it a lot in my shows for ages 3-6. It has the perfect elements of story, theme and also magician in trouble and see-don’t-see that children just absolutely go nuts over. It also plays big and packs flat and the set up is very easy.
I have several effects that are like this from Book Worm (for my library shows) and one that is based on Reindeer with different colored noses (used for Holiday shows). Kyle

Hello,
Thank you, I found it, but I couldn't see any pictures of "Bookworm". Is there something written in English on the cards? I want to use it for a library show in German(y) I have the old "At the Zoo" - Version from Supreme, is "Bookworm" consructed similar? Would You apreciate it? @Kyle: You use the Rudolph Version for Holiday shows? I don't see the relation between the themes/Patter. Would you share a bit of the story? |

Hello
The main "folder" says Library on the front and then each card has a picture and the words (in English) such as Adventure,Fairy Tale, How To, History, describing the types of the books that you can find at the library. |
