Wait....the KKK? How the heck do you get that? If anything I can see you trying to connect it to the wars in Asia but the KKK? Dylan use to be asked about the secret meaning of some of his songs and he said there were none, it was just scatology, people didn't and often still don't believe him. I just thought, maybe he used the word goons because it rhymes w/ baboon! Thank god Francis mentioned Vietnam. This reminds me of some country singers who use the word 'clan' as in family group which some non thinkers immediately thought "Klan!".
Peter Garbriel has always been an artist and I doubt he is a klansman. He's aged well too. I went to great effort to write a song for my wife the other day called "Sick my duck" about my dog attacking a duck. She won't even let me sing the song cuz of the title! |
