I noticed that my hair is receding like a glacier. Rather than thinning out over all of the top it is just staying thick then moving back a bit leaving sparse hairs in front of it. Ever seen those photos over time of deforesting in Brazil? That is what is going on on my head. To compensate I trimmed the beard down to a thick 1880s goatee so while my hair goes back on top it gets longer on the face...I am one sexy ol' fat dude. Just thought I'd tell you all.....

In the Amazon, isn't the point of clearing the trees to allow the land to be used for farming cattle, and so to make more money? I think you should maybe look on your situation less as a by-product of reaching a certain age, and more as a business opportunity. Now, I would be the first to admit that it's unlikely that you'd be able to raise many head of cattle on your newly defoliated head parts, but maybe something like a tattoo advertising Coca-Cola or (if the multinationals won't bite) a local car hire company or grocery store?

Go to the zoo and check out our close relatives. The silverback gorilla is big, grey and bald and the ladies love him! Welcome to the silverback club!

The balder Sean Connery got, the more ladies dug him.

The fading hairline elongates your face, making you look wise and mysterious. So I tell myself. Eventually we all look like knockoffs of Eugene Burger. Get used to it. Time to play with your hair while it's still there.
