I was told by my lawyer that due to the fact that I do so many shows a week I should get insurance. The problem is, over here in Canada insurance policies are darn expensive and I mean expensive. How is it over your side of the world? Do you have a policy? Richard Lyn "Tricky Ricky" I would like input from all. |

You need $20 million to perform for a government organisation in my city.
In Australia we recently had a HUGE insurance company collapse (a la Enron) and leave A LOT of people out in the cold. The collapse of the company drew a lot of people's attention to how many claims people make and how much money is being awarded by the courts. Because of this everyone needs insurance to do almost any job and it costs the earth. I joined up with a group called Duck For Cover (cool name huh?) who have gotten a great policy at it only costs me $400 for my $20 mill. Aussies should check out: http://www.duckforcover.com |
