Im doing some research and wondering in anyone knows of effects or performers that use baseball cards in place of playing cards?
Also - anyone using greeting cards as a gag when they say pick a card...any card...

Jim Tyler has a nice effect where he uses baseball playing cards. It's called "Baseball Diamond." You can find it in his book or DVD set which are both titled "Pockets Full of Miracles."

I think Josh Jay had a routine in his first book.

KOZAK has a great trick, ala card sword using a pitching machine and a baseball bat.

Copperfield did the T&R with a very rare Honus Wagner BBC (worth near 3 mil. in 2007)!
It still makes me a bit ill to think of all the BB cards I destroyed in the spokes of my bicycle back in the 60's! MMc |

As usual, Reed is a bit behind the times. This topic was JUST brought up a few weeks ago. Mark, I'll send you an idea I had using baseball cards.

I have an OLD effect from Mike Bent called Batter Up, it's basically a Card Sword using an Appearing BaseBall Bat and a stack of baseball cards. Sounds like what Kozak is using.

It doesn't use baseball cards instead of playing cards, but All Star Slugger is a really fun, very simple marketed effect. Player depicted on the card appears to have found spectator's selected card.

I always have done the double undercut.. I think it works really well when the card is forced to the top in another way (maybe more invisible?) then cut to the middle, then a DU... It just seems pretty good if it's not a big action.

"TNR with bbc is a great idea, beacuse you're destroying and restoring something of a lot bigger value
