I was lucky enough to see this in person when I was 18yrs old. It truly is a wonder. I wish I could see it now that it has been cleaned. For some reason I don't remember it being quite as crisp as this.

Thank you, I didn't realize how many figures were in the ceiling. The color is amazing. Those figures really had an effect on my drawing when I was younger. I've always admired Michelangelo's understanding of anatomy and musculature (of men anyway). I'd love to see other historical sights like this. Lascaux 360 maybe? -Mary Mowder |

After it was cleaned it brought all new insight into Michaelangelo's color palette. Whenever the noise got to loud in the Sistine Chapel a voice would come on to quiet the visitors down. No not that voice.
