I really don't know where this would be posted, so I defaulted to the folks I feel the most comfortable with.
Most of my magic library is PDF from lybrary.com and TLP, in addition to other sites you can purchase from. I put the down loads on to Flash Sticks, then read them on my laptop. Trouble is, I need something a bit more portable to read the books off of, like when I'm in the shop and need to refer to something. I do not want another computer, just something that is dedicated to reading the books off my flash sticks. What is the difference between E-Readers and other devices. Any suggestions on choosing the one to suite my needs? I cannot find helpful info on the web, so I seek inlightenment from you all. Mulee |

The Kindle from Amazon will import and display PDFs, but the bells and whistles such as full-blown search and read-aloud are not necessarily supported. For your use, though, I think it would suffice.

Thank you both.
I got a bit lost in the Lybrary review, but good info. Went to my computer guys and found out none of the readers allow flash sticks to directly deliver the books to the device, will have to port through the laptop. The Kindle seems to be the odds on favorite. Mulee |
