I just finished checking out a web site that is like a book archive and in it are
books on magic and such. Well it started with a search for the Books of Wonder
and it gave a listing of all the items in the book and pages and so forth.

The really amazing part is that it listed Juan Tamariz, so I clicked in that and
it took me to another page full of item by Juan. From there I followed it to Ed Marlo, Dai Vernon and many others.

This index lists out every known item that these great men of magic have ever published
and where it can be found and the page numbers. And how many items there are for each.

The top three were: Number three our very own Harry Lorayne with 663 items.
Number two was Dai Vernon with 829 items and number one was the card God Ed Marlo
with 2,842 items.

Truly Amazing!

And, if I may ask, what is the website in question?

Not only is Herr Behr's site an absolute treasure trove but Denis is quite masterful with the paste boards himself! A rare quality among our brethren!

Has denis behr released his effect where an elastic band visually penetrates a pack of cards? I saw him do it at the international magic convention in london and it was amazing!

...sorry, but the rubberband-routine is not included in that book. besides that: that book is excellent, some things are quite complex, but it´s a great pleasure to read. to me, it has the oil-and-water-routine of my choice, first rate, and it explodes right into the face.

Best regards,

Axel

I believe the rubber band routine is published in volume 2 of Handcrafted Card Magic. And yes the archives are really great, I use it very frequently.

Mr. Behr's site has been a godsend for me. It's helped me track down sleights and effects that I have been looking for and research books that I'm looking to purchase thus helping me create a great library of magic books.
