Parts of your head? Dude, I just told y'all that I'm shaving my jewels, and you worry about your head? Who cares about a head? A few scars on the head would be cool. That's something I might even do on purpose.
I bought a second safety razor, so that I would have one in each of my homes. A bit extravagant--contradicting the whole point about thrift. |

If you sit on your hand until it goes numb it is like being shaved by a stranger...

As a magician I've learned many sleights right-handed, then taught myself to do them left-handed as well. More recently, I've taken up other tasks left-handed: tying shoelaces and shaving being two of them. Building new neural pathways is good for the brain, I hear. (What's funny about the shoelace tying is that it started out with me having to concentrate to do it left-handed, then passed through a stage in which I would start one way and be somewhat confused how to continue, and, finally, reached the stage in which I can simply think how I want to start and the rest is automatic (i.e., habitual).) |

I shave with a new razor, never a bic, but not expensive... My father taught me that shaving your face dry was the best way to do it although sometimes a bit painful. It seems to remove more dry or aged skin and promotes a more youthful look.

Dare I ask why?
When in high school our swim team went to state, so we all decided to shave our legs to reduce drag (a few did their heads, this was years before that was cool). So one night after practice we took razors into the showers and did our legs. It's was like the shower scene in Psycho...blood soaked water flowing into the drains. It was like a slaughterhouse. After that I personally cannot imagine taking a razor sharp object anywhere near the parts of my body I hold most dear.

If I wanted to wax poetically, I guess I would say that the phrase 'Shorn Scrotum' sort of just rolls off the tongue.

Depending on what you're waxing, Ginsberg's "Howl" may be more appropriate.
