I perform a fun escape-style routine where I appear to vanish from a box then reappear in the crowd. However, I have a client who wants me to throw the box into a pool and then vanish from the pool. As the box I use is of my own design and is quite expensive, I don't want to do this.
Any ideas? |

Have another one made up and bill the customer accordingly. In other words, you might want to charge extra.

Will you re-appear wet or dry? It could give away your method if not done properly. If your escape is dry, wet down your hair before re-appearing. Abbott's escapes book has plans for a wet crate. Remember, you need weights and holes to sink it as well.
Possibly you should offer a different type of escape instead? Good luck, Mike
...think not that all wisdom is in your school. You may have studied other paths, but, it is important to remember that no matter who you are or where you come from, there is always more to learn.

I was thinking of a straightjacker escape on the edge of the pool with a rope tied to me and across to the other side of the pool with a winch slowly bringing the rope tight.
