When ordering over the internet (which for me is pretty much how I get all of my magic supplies),
how long do you wait before you start making inquiries with the seller after not receiving your order? I am at two weeks now on two orders with no response other than the automated order response email. No returned call after message on voicemail and no response to an inquiry email. I am thinking it is time to call the credit card company and cancel the charge. What is the norm for something like this? I have never had a problem with online ordering before. Mike, did the shop provide an estimated time of delivery for your order at checkout?

No, just an automated order confirmation email. Subsequent follow up email simply asking how they ship have been ignored as well. I sent a final email today advising that if no response is received from them I will cancel the credit card charge authorization with the company. The website gives no info of how they ship either. My last order with this vendor was a couple of years ago and was problem free, albeit communication free with the exception of the automated response and I received a priority mail package within 5 days.

Mike, I would let it ride a bit longer. If no ETA was discussed, then they have 30 days to ship your order. Your ISP's Spam Filter might be blocking their email response to your voicemails - if it were me, I would try contacting them through another means, such as Facebook, to see if you can get a response. There's no need to cancel payment if the goods are enroute or will soon be on their way.
Hope this helps... Good Luck! - Aaron Smith http://www.magic.org |

Thanks Aaron,
Probably a good idea... unfortunately though I am only finding phone # and email address for them. I will hold up, it is not a huge order, I just have to provide better customer service at my job than that or I do get chargebacks. Mike Malone |

Sometimes (based on my experience), they might not be able to answer your e-mails even your purchase has been shipped.

Something else that I forget sometimes too is that a lot of these folks have other jobs in the daytime and run their business as a cottage industry on the side. A lot of times it is a spouse or relative playing pack and ship with small companies.
