I recently bought a fire wallet and I was wondering as to how much lighter fluid I needed to put in it. I tried putting both a little and a large amount of fluid, and both times the success rate for the fire actually starting is around a 10-25% chance. And that is a few seconds after adding the lighter fluid on the wicks.
any ideas on what I am doing wrong? |

Are you using the Jardonnet wallet? I have used it for years, and I guess the best I can say is that I use a medium amount of fluid. Both pads are pretty saturated, but not overly so.
It is also important to light the wallet during setup, before going into performance to burn off the excess.

Yes I am using Jardonnet wallet.
How wide do you suggest I open the wallet to get the best chance for a fire? Normally when I do it, the wallet is pretty close together. |
