Saw this simple little routine from FrenchDrop on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fmF1LYZmlkU
Their site, as you know, is only in Japanese, though. Anyone got a suggestion for a vendor who provides a great looking chopped MUG? Thanks, Tony |

George Schindler has a chopped plastic mug, which you can do a search for.

Hey Mark, thanks for the tip. I looked it up and it's a plastic, "thermal" kind of cup. I really like the look of the ceramic cup that's used in that video.
Any other thoughts? Thank you again for the reply, Tony |

Afine, a fine "catch all" answer!

First, you should check out the cups and balls museum. There are several chop mugs on display along with the names of the makers/providers. None of these are for sale there, but you will get pointed in the right direction.
It's free. Just go to http://www.cupsandballsmuseum.com and follow the directions on the first page to get a username and password. BTW, don't knock googling basic terms. I did a google search on chop mug and found a couple of excellent ones, besides the one that Schindler sells. Denny has had these in stock, as well.

Bill, thanks for the tip.
I'm not knocking Google for basic searches. But, at the same time, the value of being in a magical community is the tips, recommendations and suggestions that you don't get from a Google search. Plus, I generally don't ask a question on a forum unless I've done a bit to find the answer on my own. Case in point: your suggestion on Denny's Magic was spot-on. They have the exact cup I asked about. But that didn't turn up in the first few pages of a Google search. THANK YOU! Not being lazy. I just think the value of a magician's suggestion is worth more to me than the SEO ranking of a website. Heading over to the C&B museum...thanks again! Tony |

It was the sixth listing when I searched. There is a photograph of a coffee mug with sources where an item can be purchased. The third source was Denny. That's where I got the info.
