I am on the bus returning from a weekend seminar headed by Anthony Jacquin.
What can I say??????? WOW!!!!!! I have spent years reading everything in sight on hypnosis, I've purchased at least 50 DVDs on it as well. After awhile all the info starts to get repetitive and you realize you just have to DO IT. I have tried introducing pseudo hypnosis into my shows, pushing a limit a little each time, but I never had the confidence to just go for it, all the way. I knew I needed that extra push. There is nothing like being in a room of people all committed to hypnosis and wanting to make that leap, and then having the experience of it actually happening, this stuff is just TOO COOL, I'm hooked. With all the research materials I ever purchased, Anthony Jacquin's is by far the most concise, to the point, no BS material that works. That is what attracted me to attend his seminar and like his DVD's and books, he certainly did not disappoint in person. His teaching style is fun, engaging, interactive and direct. Certainly there is a great deal you can learn about hypnosis, and like all the studying I did, most of it got in the way of me actually doing it. Anthony gets right to the point of teaching you the basics, what you need to know and literally, getting you on the street. And for all you critics out there, health and safety was covered quite exhaustively. The goal was to get you capable of achieving catalapsy(spelling???) I can't speak for everyone, but it was my experience that this goal was achieved. Ever since I got interested in hypnosis, my goal was always to become 'invisible'. The was not an expectation I brought to this seminar, that was my holy grail, hoping to attain sufficient skills to one day achieve that. What I saw in that room was nothing short of amazing, I never would of believed it if I hadn't experienced it first hand. For myself, I was able to achieve, catalapsy, forgeting your name, losing the number 3, only being able to speak in chinese, oh.... and I almost forgot, I'm also invisible. Anthony - It was great meeting you in person, along with Kev and Amit and I enjoyed throwing back a few Coronas with you guys last night, I do hope to see you again. Thanks for a great experience. |

WOW! You're so lucky to get to go. Where I live, it's quite a ride to go to any magic/hypnosis seminars or even shows.
This post inspired me.. I want to keep practicing, but I'm so new at it... It's sort of disappointing, but exciting at the same time when I fail. Once again, thanks for sharing, and congratulations on being invisible |

Thanks for the review Richard. I am glad you got to grips with the full depth of hypnotic phenomena and do not doubt you will find the way forward for you in terms of the act you are developing. Stay in touch.
