TAke out the variables.
I had a friend that made a radio shack robot, that finger flicked dice that were setting on the table. Taking out the horizontal tilt variable. He could not reproduce the roll even with a robot flicking the dice off of a table in the same position with the same force every time. This is a myth man. Sorry to tell you. before I went in to military and contract for military work, I was pretty much a nerd. My undergrad was in biology and physics and my ms was in molecular biological configuration. I know some physics and the problem with dice "tricks" is that the moment of impact in terms of angle and coeficient of friction of that moment make anything over like a 4 inch roll completely unpredictable. In other words the dice are too square.. the throw is too long. |

One might be better off applying some form of dice control etc to Backgammon perhaps.
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

Yr probably right Tony, but still If I'm going to gamble on odds that favor the house, I prefer mini baccarat because then I can at least put on a white jacket, sip vermouth and pretend I'm a Bond villain the same time.

As I understand it, there are specific techniques to making controlled shots in backgammon using the dice cup. But that's a different thing altogether from dice setting. Those are controlled shots, which are definitely possible under the right conditions as Mr. England says.
But then, I know nothing at all about dice, so this is all rumor and innuendo coming from me.

Yes, Tony, I remember Buddy's T-Zone episode.
Been enjoying all the fuss about results, possible and otherwise, that's been stirred up. Keep checking out the cideos and the advice. |

What are the dice moves about that are taught on the 'Gambling Protection Series' DVDs ? I don't own the DVDs but I thought I recalled someone saying that it included dice throwing techniques..?
Greetings, Timon.

Forte's GPS doesn't teach any moves at all, but you can learn more from it than many move videos put together.
