Man that's a bad thing Salby.. I have got these in the passed and seem to remember the shell perfect to fit a half dollar. What a bummer. Thanks for the info pal, You just saved some money in my pocket,! Cause I was going to buy a few sets from them. Not now.

Ouch! I agree TWOCAN - this isn't right at all; The marketing should have made the distinction clearly but doesn’t. I'm surprised that Johnson didn't respond better when you called them, Salby. I haven't had much reason to contact Johnson for problems but the few times I did (once or twice, I think) Kathy at Johnson made things right immediately. I would call them back and ask them to switch out the "regular" Chinese coins or give you a refund for the Hong Kong set. Good luck!
