Got it. I only gave it a quick read but the book is awesome. Looks like it is one of my best purchases.

His spread control looks quite similar to (though better) than a control demonstrated by the chap who cameod in DB's Devil's Picture Book...

I'm really surprised that there hasn't been more buzz about this book. Maybe those who have it want the material to stay exclusive. I know I do...

I have heard conflicting feedback on the skill level of this material. Judging by the table of contents it appears to be moderate to advanced. Is that a fair assessment or is there a wider variety of skills needed for these moves?

Regarding Gagnon's Avant-Card book, I bought it and then talked to Tom about it. As a fifty year magician, I believe Tom's book is excellant and will be on the "must have" list for a long time. The material any magician who will spend the time learning and practicing. One does not read Expert at the Card Table in the morning and exploit the material in the afternoon. In that sense, the book is for any one willing to learn. I highly recommend buying Tom's book and studying the material. For me the cost of the book returned to me many times over simply reading and utilizing the breather card gaff made at home. Go for it.

Tom's book is very good. And like Bobby said, there is nothing that is a morning/afternoon effect. There are some things that are fairly easy, but still need lots of practice to smooth out. There is also more difficult material, but that's a good way to boost your skill level.
